ADVERTISING NOTES- PLEASE READ! · Ad prices include the following: For Full, 2/3 and Half Page ads submit 1-2 photos to be scanned (see PHOTO CRITERIA below); a good clean hard copy of your logo (if you wish it to be included) preferably in black and white (no xeroxes etc). Copy (text) for your ad should either typewritten or a computer generated hard copy for clarity. You may send in a rough layout of how you wish your ad to appear if you so desire. Or you can submit your ad digitally- see "Submitting a Digital File". For 1/4, and 1/8 Page ads submit up to one photo to be scanned (see Photo Criteria); a good clean hard copy of your logo (if you wish it to be included) preferably in black and white (no xeroxes etc). Copy (text) for your ad should either typewritten or a computer generated hard copy for clarity. You may send in a rough layout of how you wish your ad to appear if you so desire. or you can submit your ad digitally- see "Submitting a Digital File". For all multiple run ads done by Simply Morgan, you can reuse the same basic layout but use new pictures and make minor copy changes to your base ad. Each additional scan is $15 and copy changes will be charged $10-$20 depending on amount/time involved to change. *Camera Ready Hard Copies will be accepted under the following conditions: Black and white artwork only- no greyscale/halftones (such as photos) Output at a minimum of 1440 dpi at actual size on a photo quality inkjet paper. · Changes to an ad after approval of proof will be charged at the rate of $25 per hour if handled by Simply Morgan. DEADLINE FOR DISPLAY ADS: By the 1st of the month preceding publication. (i.e. for March/April issue the dealdine is Feb. 1) · PHOTO CRITERIA: In our goal of promoting the classic/sport morgans we desire good quality photographs for your ads. The horse(s) should be shown well groomed and presented, and if a conformation shot is submitted the horse should be shown either standing square (Example 1) or lightly stretched (Example 2), but not over-stretched (Example 3), particularly for any photos to be used in the Stallion Showcase. For the Stallion Showcase it is suggested to send one of the following: A clear standing conformation shot, a good head shot,or a good performance shot if applicable.
NOTE: All photos submitted for any ads should come with a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) if you wish them returned!
